General Dentistry in Business Bay, Dubai

Most dental problems are cheap and painless to fix early, and expensive and painful to fix late. That’s the whole argument for general dentistry: a check-up twice a year costs you an hour; the crown you’d need three years after ignoring a small cavity costs considerably more. Everything on this page exists to keep you in the first category.

Dental Check-ups

A proper check-up goes well beyond a quick look. We examine every tooth and your gums, use digital imaging to see what’s happening below the surface, early decay between teeth, trouble under old fillings, and screen for oral cancer, check your bite, and review any existing dental work.

Then we actually talk to you: what your home routine looks like, what to adjust, and whether anything needs treating now or just watching. Most patients need this twice a year. Our hours (Saturday–Thursday, 10 AM–7 PM) and multilingual team make it easy to keep the habit even with a Dubai schedule.

Professional Cleaning, Scaling, Polishing & Airflow

However well you brush, tartar builds up in the places a brush can’t reach, especially just below the gumline, where gum disease starts. Professional cleaning removes it.

We use ultrasonic scaling, high-frequency vibration that breaks hardened tartar off the tooth, above and below the gumline, while staying gentle on enamel, followed by polishing that smooths the tooth surface so new plaque struggles to grip.

For stubborn staining from coffee, tea, tobacco, or wine, we add Airflow: a fine jet of water, air, and powder that lifts surface stains and bacterial film from places instruments can’t reach, around braces, implants, and crowded teeth. It’s gentle enough for sensitive teeth and gums, and the difference is visible after one session.

Twice a year suits most people; if your gums need closer attention, we may suggest every three to four months and we’ll explain why.

Fillings

Modern fillings are tooth-coloured composite, bonded to the tooth, invisible in your smile, nothing like the grey metal of old.

Our approach is conservative by design: intraoral cameras show us exactly where decay ends, so we remove only damaged tooth and keep the healthy structure. The composite shade is matched to your tooth, layered, and cured hard with LED light, you can eat on it the same day. Done well, a filling is a small intervention that prevents a much bigger one.

Root Canal Treatment

Two things to know about root canals. First, the pain people associate with them is the toothache before treatment, the infection pressing on the nerve. The treatment itself is done under proper anaesthesia and is what makes that pain stop. Second, a root canal is how you keep your natural tooth instead of extracting it — and a saved natural tooth beats any replacement.

What actually happens: imaging maps your tooth’s canal system, the anatomy varies more than most people expect. Through a small opening, the infected pulp is removed, the canals are cleaned, shaped, and disinfected with rotary instruments and irrigation, then sealed with biocompatible filling material so bacteria can’t return. Most treated teeth then get a crown for long-term strength, and we monitor healing at your follow-up.

If you’ve been putting off a root canal out of fear, that’s precisely the anxiety this clinic was founded to undo. Tell us. We’ll take it at your pace.

Frequently asked questions

How often do I really need a check-up?

Every six months for most people. Some conditions, gum disease, heavy tartar build-up, lots of existing dental work — justify more frequent visits, and we’ll tell you honestly if you’re one of those cases.

Does professional cleaning damage enamel?

No. Ultrasonic scaling and Airflow both remove deposits from the enamel without cutting into it, and leaving tartar in place is far more damaging than any cleaning.

Is a root canal painful?

The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia; what you’ll feel is time in the chair, not pain. Mild soreness for a couple of days afterwards is normal. The severe pain belongs to the infection, and ends with the treatment.

Do you accept insurance for check-ups and cleaning?

We work with all major insurance providers and help you with reimbursement paperwork.

When was your last check-up? If you had to think about it, it’s time.
